not the song, per se

"Out here in the fields
I fought for my meals
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight
To prove i'm right
I don't need to be forgiven" - The Who - Baba O'Riley

using it - Today I'm quoting the music that comes before the above lyrics. you know that Awesome guiter/keyboard sweetness of a mixture. (i can't believe i just typed sweetness of a mixture, and then didn't delete it!)

Anywho. It's monday again, here we are, back at the desk, with a little story.

Once upon a time there was a um... 27 year old female. she liked to run, and lived in maine. She loved Spring. it was her favorite time of year. Gallavanting along the road, listening to her Ipod, life was pretty sweet. Until *du duh dunnnn* the leaves bloomed, the flowers blossumed and the grass grew *dun dunnnn dunnnnn* and she developed allergies. Even thinking about leaving the house filled her sinuses with dread. Her throat closed down, her eyes turned to weepy red itchy messes. and all was bad. So even though it reached 75 on the first Sunday in May, she did not run. She walked a little, tissues in hand, but her feet longed to be free. They longed to pick up speed, and build a base of mileage. And then her neighbor mowed the lawn. and all got much much worse.

Thus ends the story- with a Public Service Announcement - Please don't mow your lawn. No one likes doing it anyway. Skip it. Let the grass be the tallest grass it can be. Let the dandelions win, just this once. Because while your lawn upkeep reflects the kind of person you are (not really), my ability to breathe is more important than your place on wisteria lane.

hate to say it, but i LOVE the smell of fresh cut grass...but i'm helping with your alergies since i no longer have a yard to mow.

and i'm laughing that you 'quoted' the intro music for baba o'reily. what a great tune that is. (and did you notice you said any'who'?)
