Dear Prudence

Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won't you come out to play

Dear Prudence - The Beatles

I've been listening to this song on repeat for about a week now- original version and the new one from "Across the Universe"

Hello, and welcome back to my possible reactivated blog.

i could lie and explain my blog absence by typing that i've been busy with wedding plans, or getting ready to turn 30, or at work, or getting ready for the new septic system, or any number of other things i have going on, but i'm not going there. sure, those things are going on, but when i think about the past month or 2, i feel slothlike

complete sloth- and a general feeling of sit on the couch and watch tv, even though there isn't a damn thing on.

and i want it to stop. so i'm taking a big breath, opening my eyes and greeting the brand new day (see, i did mention the lyric)
not sure about the blog - i've been thinking of deleting it. we'll see how the next month goes, and then i'll decide.

things that are cool in the world of chandra this summer:
netflix dvds of Californication
my never ending search for the Wii Fit
the possibility of a new wetsuit for my 1/3 mile OCEAN swim in FOUR WEEKS (freaked? no, not me!)
2 weeks till my bridal shower (no, it's not a surprise)
3 weeks till my birthday (will it get ignored because it is the summer of the Blessed Wedding Event)
spin classes that make me drip sweat in the middle of the work day
my NEW AWESOME COOL bike --- did i mention that it's ORANGE?
my new hair cut
the second workout after 6 weeks of sloth

things that aren't cool:
the price of wedding dress alterations
the price of wedding dress cleanings/steamings
the price of wedding dress support garments
needing a new septic system
spending the 4th of july weekend moving wood
the first workout after like 6 weeks of sloth

if you haven't listened to Dear Prudence in a while, have a listen - it's a great song that I never knew about until recently!
